SEAC Recruitment Services

SEAC is an Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA) approved by the National Apprenticeship Service and included on their national register of ATAs

What is an ATA?

Has your organisation considered taking on an apprentice but perhaps you just don’t know how to go about it or possibly you have unspent apprenticeship levy and would welcome some ideas as to how you could maximise your fund?  Then SEAC may be able to help.

SEAC is an Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA) approved by the National Apprenticeship Service and included on their national register of ATAs.  They offer an alternative, low risk, way for companies to take an Apprentice into their Business.  They provide a total Apprenticeship Management service to companies - whatever their size or whatever sector they operate in.

SEAC delivers an “agency style” service with the key advantage being that they employ and take on all the associated risk and responsibility that goes with the employment of the apprentice. Your business would act as a “Host Company” in which the apprentice would work and train on a placement basis for the duration of their training.

KEY services

The service comprises the recruitment and employment of the apprentice and the ongoing support of both the Host Company and the apprentice themselves. SEAC will deliver a comprehensive HR service and are responsible for:

  • Sourcing and arranging the training provision with one of its delivery partners – a range of quality assured colleges /training providers specialising in the apprenticeship to be delivered
  • Pay rolling the apprentice
  • Health and Safety
  • Safeguarding
  • Performance management (in collaboration with the Host Company)
  • Dealing with all Grievance and Disciplinary matters.

Which businesses should consider using SEAC?

The service that SEAC provides is of particular benefit to companies and organisations that:

  • Do not have the infrastructure to employ an apprentice direct themselves.
  • Have never had an apprentice in their business before and would welcome and value the support and fully managed service that SEAC provides.
  • Are experiencing a recruitment freeze or have a head count restriction preventing their employing an apprentice direct
  • Have unspent apprenticeship levy and would like some advice and guidance as to how to maximise their funding
