Herts Young Homeless help young people between the ages of 10 to 24 yrs old, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to deal with difficult situations in their lives and help them to find confidence to do it themselves and find independence and stability.

We also work with young people and their families to help build relationships through mediation and support.  We offer services such as our advice and information hub, and our outreach team offer a range of services to support those people aged18 and over. We also have an education team who go out to Hertfordshire based schools to provide information and training on a range of current and common topics affecting young people.

We are able to provide support to young people who are experiencing mental health challenges and help them to seek the right support.

We work closely with Herts County Council, local district councils and other agencies to improve local provision and prevent youth homelessness. We need a wide variety of skills and experience within our organisation so that we can make a huge difference to young people’s lives.
