The course will include understanding how a school operates and the role of a teaching assistant; identify the different ways children learn and how this can be supported; explore strategies to effectively deal with behaviour issues; the importance of Safeguarding and the well-being of pupils and key legislation and practices relating to health and safety within a school environment.
