Apex 360 is a Sports, Dance and Physical Activity organisation.  We predominantly provide Primary School with multi-activity clubs and parents with Ofsted registered holiday camps, all across Hertfordshire and into other counties.  Alongside this, we deliver a host of training courses and also support community and corporate events with our inflatable hire.

The Active Dacorum Hub is run in partnership with Apex in the Community (CIC), which is a multi activity, inclusive venue, set in the Hemel Hempstead area, serving the local community with different opportunities to get active.

Employer Overview

The aim of the Apex 360 group is to offer excellent provision to a diverse range of people, throughout Hertfordshire and wider afield in the sports, dance and physical activity sectors. Having been established since 2005, the organisation has grown to deliver up to 2,000 sessions a month, through our many franchises. This is not to mention our popular holiday camps and also us supporting the HAPpy initiative over the last couple of years.

Being well known and trusted in the industry, we are often the “go-to” partner by County Sports Partnerships, Local Government Organisations, Universities, Colleges, Sports Clubs and more. Whether this be looking to improve and increase their physical activity and participation levels in the area or have us deliver bespoke events for their target audience, we are always investing, innovating and inspiring.

With being a training provider on a number of industry recognised courses including safeguarding and having taken part in the recent government Kickstart initiative, we are supporting the next line of superstar coaches and volunteers. Many of our team have gone on to have successful careers within the sports, dance or physical activity sector as teachers, coaches or other roles, which we love to see.

Why work with us?

Being established and well known in the industry for over 17 years, we have a history of developing people to be successful, within the sector.  Those wanting to get into coaching or teaching often start with us and develop their knowledge, skills, confidence and much more.  With opportunities to network with a variety of potential future employers, many use us as a springboard to their next step.

Also, having recently taken part in the Kickstart initiative with 55 individuals coming on board with us for a six month paid placement, we have seen over 71% go on to obtain a positive destination in industry or higher education.  To see these individuals go from being on Universal Credit, to fulfilling their dreams has been fantastic and we hope to continue to do this through work experience opportunities and degree apprenticeships that we are now offering through Hertfordshire University.  If you are looking to start off in the sports, dance or physical activity industries or fancy a career change, feel free to get in touch and join the many others that have used Apex 360 as their development vehicle.

Apprenticeship, graduate and work experience programmes

We have recently collaborated with Hertfordshire University to offer a Degree Apprenticeship. This exciting opportunity will see you not only develop a host of skills, knowledge and certificates through our fantastic links and partners, but get a degree, while getting paid! We are really excited to be offering the chance for people to get involved in the degree apprenticeship and we hope to be able to offer more in the future.

We often link other schemes with local universities to give graduates paid short term placements, so would welcome any contacts looking to get involved with us and we can see how we can support.

We welcome those looking to gain work experience from year 11 onwards, as we feel we can offer a real insight into the sports industry. Whether this be supporting our sports coaches in schools, clubs or camps, our development team creating new physical activity initiatives or our events staff running team building days, there are lots to get involved with.
