Ours is a mature business that has seen a decrease in demand for “standard” private car insurance over the past 20 years with the advent of the internet and comparison websites. The UK general insurance industry is saturated with “cheap” products from many different sources and as a consequence we have looked to diversify.
Similar to many traditional brokers we have identified that the right customer can see the benefit and value we bring and consequently our growth in recent years has been around Micro SME business activities rather than personal lines; that said we continue to run a very healthy private motor & home books of business.
