Apprenticeship and work experience programmes
Our Conventional Machining and CNC Engineering Apprenticeship
A 4-year apprenticeship qualifying in Advance Manufacturing at level 2 and 3. This apprenticeship combines learning off-site at Harlow College for 1 day a week and on site at Davall Gears for 4 days a week.
Through this apprenticeship, students will learn to understand general manufacturing and engineering principles, methods, techniques, and symbols used by engineering technicians. Opportunities will be available to experience different elements of manufacture through the factory from turning and milling to gear cutting and electro-discharge machining on state-of-the-art machinery.
Entry requirements: 4 GCSE’s at grade C/4 or relevant engineering qualification including Mathematics and English.
