Apprenticeship and work experience programmes

The SEC Group offer a degree-level apprenticeship for two Construction Designers.

Based from our offices in Stevenage the roles will support, manage, coordinate and ultimately lead the project design of larger or more complex projects. From initial client concept interpretation, Project specification costing to detailed design and the delivery of finalised scope of works.

Linked to a Degree in Design and Construction Management, this development role is designed to build knowledge and experience together. Starting in concept design, client engagement and costing to real-life delivery of projects that you design for our Interiors and Warehouse Divisions.

This will involve projects as diverse as Robotic Warehouses, Cutting Edge Vertical Farms to Interior fit-out of offices, cleanrooms and specialist-controlled environments.

Linking the design process to the delivered project considering buildability, and quality with the appropriate Quality Assurance and Site Quality control processes. This role will truly see project design from initial concept to final realisation.

Furthermore, the SEC Group are seeking a degree-level apprenticeship for one Data Analyst.

This role, also based in Stevenage will support our multi-award-winning sales processes by providing critical insights derived from live customer data to ensure that we deliver cutting-edge, sustainable solutions to our clients. Analysis will be carried out utilising our suite of innovative analytical and design tools that leverage pioneering machine-learning and Artificial-Intelligence to provide intelligent, prize-winning warehouse solutions for household brands across the World.

The role is perfect as a first step towards a career in Data Science and in addition to on-the-job training, a workplace degree in Data Science will also be supported. Further, beyond these technical skills, daily exposure to the very latest technology, including Robotics, Virtual Twinning and Extended Reality will be provided. This role is perfect for anyone wishing to leverage data to create a positive impact using cutting-edge tech.
