Hertford House Hotel

Hertford House, is a beautifully converted Grade II listed, Georgian Townhouse Hotel located in Hertford town centre. Originally the headquarters for The Mercury, Hertfordshire’s leading newspaper, Hertford House has a rich heritage and is packed full of period charm. Classic on the outside and contemporary on the inside with 28 recently refurbished en-suite rooms.

The food offering is guided by the seasons with an accessible bistro style menu which changes throughout the year and appeals to the local market and hotel guests. The design inspired by classic New York art deco brasseries is inviting and relaxed and the perfect back drop to enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks

Anexo

Anexo takes you on a journey through Spain, serving small traditional Spanish plates with a modern edge, with a focus heavily on wood fire cooking. Located on Fore Street in Hertford (40 minutes from central London) – Anexo has two distinct areas to enjoy, each offering a different experience of Spanish cuisine.

Anexo restaurant on the ground floor serves up Spanish Tapas and our Charcuterie and the wine bar on the lower level has a fantastic selection of hams, cheeses and pintxos on offer. To accompany the food, wine expert Bert Blaize (Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Clove Club, Birch Community), has curated a wine list of Spanish, Portugese and English wines and sherries

The Quiet Man Pubs

The Quiet Man Group is a fast growing collection of independently owned traditional Irish pubs in the Home Counties. Our original venue, The Quiet Man Hertford, first opened it’s doors in July 2016. We were driven by a real desire to create a place for like minded people to come together, enjoy a great drink, great company, great service and create great memories.

The Storehouse

The Storehouse sells what we love; produce from predominantly British farms, free range British meat and dairy, artisan organic bread from local bakeries and exquisite wines. We also have a pizza oven serving Pizza Wednesday – Sunday.
