Following the success of last years’ Generation Hertsmere, Hertsmere Borough Council, in partnership with The Hertfordshire Careers Hub (Hertfordshire Futures) have organised another exciting event to highlight opportunities open in Hertsmere now and in the near future: and give young people an opportunity to meet employers. This event, specifically for those attending schools in the Borough of Hertsmere, should help inspire and inform of career opportunities and potentially help them into employment.
The event will take the form of a traditional careers fair with employers attending who will be available to discuss the range of roles and opportunities they can offer. This format presents young people with the chance to gain meaningful encounters with employers and employees whilst also gaining an insight into the types of opportunities available to them locally.
The ‘Twilight’ session
The Careers Fair will be open for all students from any Year Group from all Hertsmere Borough schools, including the independent schools, or any students living in Hertsmere but attending schools outside the borough. Parents/carers and teachers are being encouraged to attend during this time also.
