We have easily accessible learning centres in 3 key locations across the County and work with learners to gain qualifications, improve skills and to provide opportunities to find and sustain work.

KEY PROVISIONS
Adult learners and Professional Qualifications
We work with the following groups of adult learners:
Employed Adults
We can offer English and Maths programmes completely FREE to anyone who has previously not achieved a GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or a Level 2 previously. We offer a flexible blended learning approach which mixes online learning with tutor support.
We can also offer all of our other adult programmes FREE to anyone on a low income – call SPS for more details.
Unemployed Adults
We work with all unemployed adults across Hertfordshire offering our full range of provision which is usually FREE to anyone claiming benefits. As well as our range of qualifications, we also offer non-qualification short courses which include:
- Introduction to IT
- Using your own device (Phones and Tablets)
- Money Management
Support for Employers
At SPS we regularly work with employers across Hertfordshire to offer the following:
- Sector Based Work Academies – Where employers need support with recruitment, we can source potential candidates and offer training course of qualifications linked to the individual employer needs in preparation for the interview stage.
- English and Maths – For employers that would like to improve the basic skills of its workforce, we can offer flexible English and maths qualifications for your staff
