ABOUT THE CARBON REPORTING MANAGER BOOTCAMP:

 

A 10-Week, Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 4 programme for aspiring employees and mid-managers to effectively contribute to their firm’s Net Zero delivery and grow their careers in the new green economy. 

Learners develop an understanding of the existing and approaching legislative requirements around Net Zero, with a view to utilising carbon reporting tools and techniques required to measure organisational emissions.

 

Through this programme you will:

  1. Understand the drivers for carbon accounting, reporting neutrality and Net Zero. 
  2. Confidently develop and apply effective data collection and analysis to support your carbon footprint/accounting strategy and process. 
  3.  Ensure the quality and accuracy of emissions data and the reliability of the resultant carbon footprint. 
  4. Utilise learning to take on additional responsibilities and create a career pathway to the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprenticeship. 
  5. Join a supportive community of sustainability leaders, and benefit from post-programme support, to maximise learning and career advancement.
  6. Explore a range of communication tools for influencing organisational change.

 

DELIVERY DETAILS:

The learning will revolve around four modules:

  • Sustainability – the foundations
  • Management reporting and Net Zero
  • Principles of data collection, analysis and presentation
  • Carbon reporting framework

Learners can achieve a Chartered Management Institute Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management. (subject to successful completion of the programme and the assignment required).

The cost for this course is £3950.

 

Sessions delivered via once weekly live, tutor lead, online sessions.

The impact of legislative and regulatory change has meant leaders have to be able to adequately respond to the Net Zero agenda.  Equally it has become increasingly important to customers and employees that organisations are focused on their climate agenda.

Individuals career progression will be enhanced by their ability to lead on an organisation’s sustainability agenda, or seek new leadership roles specifically in the in the green economy – some 6,500 roles are currently available on LinkedIn.

The programmes support individuals to add impact to their organisations and support their own development.  Delivered flexibly through blended delivery, coaching will be provided to support individual needs.
