ABOUT THE SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MANAGER BOOTCAMP:
This programme gives experienced managers the knowledge and skills to apply sustainable business practices across all areas of the business from sales, operations, people and finance.
Over ten weeks this programme provides learners with a deep understanding of leadership and management theory and applies those techniques in the support of the delivery of a Net Zero strategy.
The theory is blended with practical understanding of the Net Zero agenda, the regulatory and reporting environment and the development and measurement of a Net Zero strategy relevant to all organisations.
Through this programme you will:
- Analyse conceptual frameworks around the themes of leadership and management to enhance professional development in that area.
- Apply and critically evaluate relevance of leadership and management theory in the context of your Net Zero challenge.
- Critically reflect on the strategic and practical nature of organisational change in your organisation
- Assess the wider roles of structures, strategies and cultures in the process of organisational change.
- Explore the execution of a Net Zero strategy in the realm of organisational leadership, strategy, change management and people management.
- Explore a range of communication tools for influencing organisational change.
DELIVERY DETAILS:
The learning will revolve around four modules:
- Sustainability foundations
- Organisational management and performance
- Management and leadership approaches
- Leadership in action
Learners can achieve a Chartered Management Institute Level 5 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership in an Organisational Context (subject to successful completion of the programme and the assignment required).
Sessions delivered via once weekly live, tutor lead, online sessions.
Three in-person days across each programme.

- Cost £4,500 of which 70% is subsidised for Large Enterprises (LEs) 90% is subsidised for SMEs and up to 100% for individuals and those seeking work.

The impact of legislative and regulatory change has meant leaders have to be able to adequately respond to the Net Zero agenda. Equally it has become increasingly important to customers and employees that organisations are focused on their climate agenda.
Individuals career progression will be enhanced by their ability to lead on an organisation’s sustainability agenda, or seek new leadership roles specifically in the in the green economy – some 6,500 roles are currently available on LinkedIn.

The programmes support individuals to add impact to their organisations and support their own development. Delivered flexibly through blended delivery, coaching will be provided to support individual needs.
