TECHNICAL SALES BOOTCAMP DETAILS:

 

Associates will be trained to be able to able to sell technical products and services, through developing customer relationships. They will develop an understanding of how IT / technology relates to the wider business context.

Training to include the following units;

  • Business behaviours (etiquette, performance, self-awareness, time and priority management)
  • IT Skills (use of O365 applications)
  • Social selling (knows the difference between social selling and traditional sales methods, understands how to grow the social network, understands best practice around social media presence.)
  • Markets and marketing fundamentals (Can explain the function of Marketing, can explain the 7Ps of marketing, understands the importance of brand awareness, can explain what digital marketing is, can explain the differences between traditional and digital marketing, can explain the advantages and disadvantages of digital marketing)
  • Customer needs analysis (Understands the importance of using effective questioning techniques applicable to their product/service offering, to be able to identify customer needs, understands the importance of achieving a mutual understanding with customers through active questioning, listening and response, understands the importance of evaluating their questioning and listening techniques to be able to improve.)
  • Propose and present solutions – (how to create a sales presentation, how to pitch and deliver to prospects, best practice techniques for networking)
  • Collaborating with business teams – (The skills required to collaborate effectively with business teams, how to support others to collaborate and communicate well, how to gather and use feedback.)
  • Employability skills (6-week fast track track) – (CV’s, interviews, finding a role and job applications)
  • Personal Goal Setting (full programme) – (SMART objective, own learning and development, CPD)

 

DELIVERY DETAILS:

 

Delivery can be on site in the classroom, virtually or a combination of both, depending on learner and employer requirements.

Start dates for the first cohort will be in October with a minimum of 8 learners.
